Have one coming my way and would like your opinion of this ssp for 10 meter "playtoy." It does not have the look of a serious competition pistol but I thought for a nice plinker it would fill the bill. Thanx.......gary

I used to have a Walther LP2. It always seemed to leak. I sent it in for repair a few times, but it never stayed sealed for long. When it worked, it was a very good air pistol. I liked the grip angle, trigger, and accuracy. It was a little hard to cock.
My Walther LP2 was leaking, yes, you bet.

Similar experience: returned from repair at the factory my LP2 was still leaking! The gun used to leak a lot: delay your shot a cople of minutes after cocking, and the shot would print low at the target.
Walther never really got the tuch with air pistols. The new 300 xt series, with adjustable palm swell, suffers from a less than perfect trigger.
Lousy triggers have become a trademark of Walther handguns.
