All,
Congratulations to Will Brown. A junior who shot a 579 and won the gold in the junior men's competition! 18 shooters form the U.S competed. Will's results are under 'Tag 2'

Forgot to add. I believe this is a new U.S junior record beating the old one of 577. Here's a question for the masses out there. Does a score have to be shot in the U.S by a U.S shooter to count as a U.S record?

Outstanding job! He was competing with not only excellent junior shooters, but experienced, world class competitors (who just happen to be juniors) as well. If you watch ISSF TV, you'll recognize Lukas Grunder, as he has made several finals in World Cup events. Keep up the good work, young Mr. Brown!

Thanks for posting the link Ted. It is fun to see juniors shoot there best when they are at big matches (his first trip out of the country). I hope people looking will check all the scores. I see that on day one Dustin Cheesbro went into the final in 8th place and turned it into a bronze medal in Jr. Air Rifle (awesome).
From what I see at the USAS site US records shot out of the country are accepted if the match is under ISSF and the shooter is part of the USA sponsored team.
