What do folks think about the Walther KK Match small-bore rifle, in comparison to 1970-80s vintage Anschutz? I shoot prone exclusively. Reason for asking is that one has become available locally, asking equivalent of US$825.

Apologies if 'KK Match' doesn't identify the rifle adequately: I'm not familiar with Walther's older models. These's not much info about the one for sale, just a poor picture. Wooden stock, no real distinguishing features.

Shot a walther KKM for many years just as good as the annies in the time period 50ft or 50meter. This particular unit had apx 1.125" dia. x 27" barrel. Finally sucumbed to the dark side (got a used annie same vintage) due to some injuries, could not handel the weight of the KKM for awhile.
Still have the KKM shoot it in benchrest on occasion hangs in there with the custom stuff.
