Steyr LP1 trigger problem

We have a "new" Steyr LP1 in the club, and the trigger kick forward when the sear is released. (at least on of previous owners played with the sear's don't-touch screw)
Is anyone familiar with this problem?
Thanks,
Gilad

Turn anticlockwise a bit sear engagement screw (1/8 of turn anticlockwise can be good). Make us knowing if it goes right.

Thanks Luke, but I've already tried it.
It takes more than 2(!) turns from sear point to eliminate the trigger kick, and obviously it's not the solution.

LukeP is on the right track
Too much or too little sear will cause problems.

I found out that the hammer spring is broken, i.e. there are 2 springs in a row.
It seem like a different issue, but can it also be the reason for the trigger kick?
Thanks,
Gilad

Set the trigger at (circa) 350 gr. / 150 gr. That forward 'kick' is due to a poor sear engagement. Increase it *slightly* (few degrees).
