I was wondering what other areas are using for awards. We are currnetly using a nation-wide awards company, Crown Trophy, but it seems there are few medals that are specific to rifle or pistol. Any sources that others use? Would anyone be interested if we can get dies made and have nice 2" medals available in the $3.00 range?

I suppose you could look to see who the NRA sources them out from, as there are a ton of awards points options for medals at Camp Perry every year.

In addition to medals and the usual trophies, plaques and engraved steins were also popular where I was shooting.

We hold a statewide 4-H postal shoot for 3-P Air. We give a trophy for the 1st place shooter in each age group (Novice, Junior & Senior), and large rosettes for 2-6th and then smaller, more inexpensive rosettes for participation.

The rosettes are very inexpensive and you can have custom printing.

What the kids really work for is the trophies .... they are small 4x6" or so acrylic on acrylic stands, but you can deliver a custom image to the shop right after the event and have the winner's name and score engraved into it. I think these cost us about $16 each, but the kids really like them.

Hi

We have any annual Christmas Air Rifle match and craft show as a semi fund raiser for our 4H. We found a new business that does engraving, and he suggested engraved lucite (like Rachel's plaque). We handed out blue, red, and clear Xmas Ornaments with the Sedgwick County Christmas Match, air rifle, 1st place prone etc. Cost less than $3.00 a piece.

The lucite is cut from 3 foot plus sheets using a laser setup (I think). Any shape that the guy can cut out, you can engrave the match data on.

I have been buying from Maxwell Medals for three years now.

A nice 1 3/4" die struck stock shooting medal with the three positions on it. Comes in gold, silver and bronze, engraved on the back, with a ribbon.

Just received this years order plus I ordered 100 custom medals for a match in April.
