Trigger control, trigger control and trigger control.

Bubba:
- Shoot "pyramids" ie 1 ten in a row, then 2 tens in a row, then 3 tens in a row etc. within the time limit.
- Shoot for rythm and process; shoot 5 shots in 20 seconds until you shoot a 50. Then shoot 5 shots in 15 seconds (until you clean it); ditto for 10.
Also useful on both drills to not advance until you do it twice (ie, if on "two tens in a row" don't move up to three shots until you do the two in a row twice).
The key is to train yourself to increase trigger pressure *as* the sights are being aligned in recovery.
Remember matches are won with slow fire- and lost with timed and rapid!

The grip is very important when you shot Standard pistol. You have to modify the grip support so it fix the wrist. Thats the key to the Standard pistol event.
Yes, of cource it's also important to fix the wrist in all pistol events, but it's very evident in the standard pistol rapid moment.
Together with a good grip support you also have to practise trigger control so the wrist will remain fix.
