Is the category 2 match that includes a scope also a one hand match or is 2 hand allowed? Regards...g

First a quick hello... My name is Steve. Been shooting airguns for well over 20 years but just getting serious about 10 meter pistol. Bought a CPM-1 from Warren at the Roanoke show (also got a Skanaker).
Bill... Is it OK to shoot at 5 meters with a 50% reduced target? I live in a small apartment and shooting any further is very difficult. Thanks.

OK - to answer the above questions:

Class two is for enhanced sights only. Everything else is the same - including one handed International style shooting.

Mentioned in the rules is 6 meter targets. It is a defacto standard for reduced distance shooting, hence there are properly scaled targets available. In this vien of thought, I'd see no specific reason a shooter could not compete using a properly scaled 5 meter target. However.......... just a mere reduction in size of 50% does not, I don't believe, equate to properly scaled 5-meter air pistol target. Has to do with the pellet diameter, which does not change the closer the target is.

Hopefully, someone with target reduction expertise will chime in here with a better answer.

http://benchrest.com/latino/html/targets.html has some targets you may be interest in. However, be sure they measure out properly.
