I am considering a cm22 morini, but have heard of problems with bullet feeding and jamming. Any opinions?

I might have some experience with my S/N sub-hundred unit. I shoot 5000+ shots per annum, and the malfunctions are rare. During the ongoing season I have had only one malfunction as the empty shell jammed the feeding, but I wonder if that problem was due to the gun or cartridge brand.

I just bought a Morini CM22 and am very happy with it.
Everyone seems spooky about gun malfunctions and lots of stories get circulated but it's difficult to get a handle on what is a real problem and what is not.
I first tested my CM22 with five brands of ammo. I had read the instructions which described how to adjust the tension of the recoil spring for various power levels so I suspected that it might have to be tuned for whatever ammo you decide to shoot. I first tried Aquila SE which is a very soft ammo and my pistol would not fully extract the case and load another round. Then I tried some Aquila Match Pistol and it functioned flawlessly. Next I tried Aquila Target (cheaper) and it not only functioned well but seemed to shoot tighter groups. I then tried some Western Expert yellow box (1960's vintage) and it shot well too. The last four brands of ammo were standard velocity but hotter than the Aquila SE.
I really like the idea of being able to tune the pistol if necessary. As it is I will probably shoot the Aquila Target as it is inexpensive and seemed to shoot tighter groups too.
I also found the CM22 easy to clean. Yes, I'm one of those radicals that clean my pistols and magazines each time I shoot them. I have owned a Pardini SP and liked that just as well. If an oppurtunity had come up to buy a Pardini first I would have done that. Now that I have the CM22 I am happy to have it. I think it feels better in my hand .

My CM22 Started giving me some problems after a case of ammo. It took a little fiddling to get reliable again. The feel of the pistol and the superb trigger make the pistol worth the work for me. The recoil nature of the CM22 makes it a great rapid fire gun, if it is running smoothly.
