Nygord Pellets

Post by K38 »

Does anyone know what kind of pellets (Brand, Weight, Size) the Nygord champion pellets were? Don is gone and I feel a bit bad asking, but I always bought my pellets for my Pardini K58 from him. I know he used to batch test them, but I know they were made for him abroad.

Thanks,

Dwight

The Nygord pellets were a custom-run from H&N off the Finale Match molds. There's another vendor (Cibles Canada Targets or CCT) who did a similar deal with H&N at the same time Don made his deal. The resulting pellets were very good and in fact I use these CCT-Select rifle pellets in my air pistols. Unfortunately they're the end of the line until somebody else strikes up a deal with H&N so I'm glad I bought a case of them when I did. Your best bet is to go back to the drawing board and do pellet testing if you really want to minimize group size. Otherwise just buy a good-quality pellet and it likely will shoot OK.
