First ever Hawaii Friends of the NRA Dinner needs your help

Aloha,
My name is Heather Horn and I am a high school rfile team member. I am the Chairperson for the first ever Friends of the NRA dinner in Hawaii. I would like to invite you all to our fundraiser dinner and to ask for your help in acquiring door prizes and auction items. We are trying to raise funds to help our junior shooters be able to afford to go to national matches like the Junior Olympics, and for baffles for a range that is in jeopardy because a high rise condo is being built across the street (downrange). If we lose this range, we lose or smallbore league.
If you are a vendor and have any leftover promotional items (hats, mugs, shirts, etc) form your booths at Camp Perry or other matches and gun shows, we would very much like to have them.
If you have any shooting sports memorabilia you could donate, please do. If you are "somebody" - all you Champions that set the example for us young shooters - could you please sign a hat or shirt or something and please send it to us.
We will have the basic package of NRA guns and art which is very much hunter and collector focused. Most of the leg work for this fundraising dinner is being done by high school student marksmen. We would like to have some items that represent our part of the shooting sports and would be of intertest to the worker bees. Our dream would be to have someone wonderful out there donate or underwrite the cost of adding a Precision Air Rifle to the package for a drawing for the high school athletes. There are less than a dozen Precision Air rifles in the islands, and over 500 high school students shooting in the state Sporter league who would like to have one to prepare for college shooting.
The dinner will be on Sunday, November 13, 2005 at the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base Hawaii Officer's Club at 5:00 PM. If you have been putting off that trip to Hawaii, here's your great excuse to go. Tickets are $35 per person, and table sponsorships are available. This is the Veteran's Day, long weekend, the weather is great and the air fares are lower (off-season).
Please send donation items or ticket orders to me at
