Cleaning sooting clothing

Does anyone know the best way to clean the canvas on shooting jacket and pants?

I think there are some products in the market to try to clean shooting clothing, but up to a swiss coach I spoke with, the only way of having a clean jacket is having a new one... So my jacket is currently not white canvas, but gray canvas.

hi, i use the same shooting jacket and pants and you can either buy this cleaner for it that will make it stiff again (not quite as good as when you first got it) or you can just buy a new one. i also heard you could get it dry cleaned but i don't know how affective it is or if it will work. hope this helps.

Use a Mars eraser. They are available at any office supply store. They consist of a white rubber that rolls off when used.
