Free pistol target size is it the NRA B17?

Is the NRA B17 the correct 50 meter Free Pistol target? When I contacted the USAS they referred me to their rule book, which states that NRA targets are to be used until USAS targets become commercially available. There is a lot of data on the size of the rings, but they fail to note what the corresponding NRA numbers are. I find this needlessly irritating.
This is my third dealing with USAS staff. I'm getting the impression that they're not ... well, less that what I would hope for .

B17 is the 50 meter target.
I have found that few of the staff at USAS are shooters, so don't expect quick answers to questions like yours. The person answering the phone will generally refer the question to one of the coaches.

Yes, the B-17 target is the "NRA 25/50 Meter UIT Pistol Target" in heavy paper. You can find a listing of the "Official NRA Competition Targets - International Pistol" on the National Target Company site at:

Here's the info on the "B" series of targets for FP:
50 feet = B-11
25 yards = B-35
50 yards = B-19 (B-19C repair center, also)
50 meters = B-17 (B-17C repair center, also)

JD,
The size of the 7 ring is 2 1/4 inches or just under 57 mm.
