There was a competitor Sven FISCHER of Germany. I think he was the one shooting the rifle that had the action toggle in the grip.

Does anyone know who makes that rifle? I have been all over the net trying to find what equipment is used and there is no mention that I can find.

Thanks for the posts but none of the rifles listed match the one I saw.

The bolt toggles by slightly rotating the grip with a flick of the wrist. This allows the shooter to keep his position and get back on target quicker.

I recall reading about this particular design a few years ago. I think it is an old eastern european design which fell out of favor post cold war when Fortner system became available to all and easy to get.

I do not believe it is currently avaiable.

I believe it's a rifle made in East Germany - in Shul, if you insist on details. I don't know the name of the company. I remember seeing an article about it many years ago in Deutscher Waffen Journal.
