I just arranged purchase of an LP200 Air and I had a few questions:

Who is the Walther importer/sales rep in the US? I am looking for a second cylinder and a filling adapter.

Also, any thoughts on hand pumps, which is best and where to buy? I like the idea of not having a scuba tank to fuss with.

Hopefully, this will signal the end of my equipment hunting for some time so I can focus on what I really need to be working on ... practice!

The Walther 300 that I tested about 3 years ago came with 2 cylinders. And 2 filling adapters, one for 200 bar scuba tanks, and the other longer adapter for the 300 bar scubas.

The pumps can hardly do more than 200 bars. If pumped to higher pressures the seals are prone to give up their faiths.

By using a 300 bar scuba tank, you get an impressive number of shots pr cylinderfill.

That blue/light yellow laminated wood grip is appealing, but not very comfortable for my hand. And as with most walther triggers, I did not like this one either.
I found the gun difficult to shoot well.

In my club 2 to 3 Walther 300s were in use, but the owners soon traded them off for Steyrs or Morinis. A wise move.

The other post was very interesting regarding LP300s, but really had nothing to do with my question. I think that the LP200 cylinders are only 200 BAR anyway, so the pump is a legitimate answer to not owning a scuba tank and getting refills, no?

Any LP200 Air owners out there that would like to drop some knowledge on me, please email me off-board. I didn't get an owner's manual in the deal, so I am "flying blind" until I find a copy. If anyone is willing to photocopy their manual and send it to me, shoot me an email and I will make it worth your while.

Congrats on your recent purchase! And your bronze!
Re air pumps - I just bought one from Pilkington and am pleased with it. Make sure you get the drier accessory. I use mine to top off my cylinders. Really too much work (for me) to fill a cylinder from empty. Look around for a used SCUBA tank on ebay (I bought mine there).

Thanks for the kind words Fred, and thanks to everyone else for the input. I have a friend who is a diver and has tanks that he will let me "leach" off, all I need to do now is get the filling adapter and yoke and I contacted Earl's in MA already for the adapter.

Maine State Championship this month, a club-level match in March and then two months of serious practice leading up to Ft. Benning in June ... CAN'T WAIT!
