A COP .357 with original case, papers and .22lr barrel inserts.
I bought it for $200 and sold it for $400 and thought I did well. I saw some going for $1,800 - $3,500 last week :(

I have a similar love/hate relationship with Contax Cameras, and the Ukraine/USSR copy- the Kiev 4A. Simply fun to shoot photos with, but they can be a bear to use at times.
Best regards,

I also use 35mm rangefinder cameras. Have a contax IIa color dial, and a kiev 4a with jupiter 3. But I use my nikon SP as my travel camera. Nice to find aperson here with similar hobby.

Film photography is a bigger rabbit hole to fall down; more then even air pistols. Especially, given how inexpensive the old cameras are…

But with 50+ year old cameras, the cost of the CLA/repair will drive the final cost up.
I have a couple lenses where the lube in the focus mechanism has dried up and it is
VERY STIFF to turn.
Same with my typewriter. $50 typewriter, $150 CLA service bill.

Also a Colt Trooper MkIII .357 bought on impulse for GBP130
It was different from all the S+Ws on the line and actually a good gun with a great barrel.
