Looking to get back into air pistol

Noooooooo..... disappointing to hear about this. It looks a great product though and, in Australia, is strangely more expensive than the Steyr EVO10E - which is beautifully made and oozes quality.

In regards to the Morini, I have recently switched from a mechanical Evo to the CM 200 and I have to say I'm extremely impressed. I have absolutely no problems with hole alignment (although I'm not sure exactly how this would affect accuracy, and the trigger guard doesn't bother me. The battery issue has been solved, and mine is still going after about a month.

The stock grip on the Morini isn't as nice as the Rink on my Evo (big surprise), and the Morini isn't nearly as adjustable as the Evo, but oh man, I'm in love. Put up a two new personal bests back shooting it in the last two weeks. The trigger is phenomenal. Be warned it is a very light gun, and shooting it will take some getting used to.

The difference to me is about from going from a Mercedes AMG sports car to a Formula 1 racer. Yes, the Morini isn't all about the cosmetics, but it flat performs!

You are right about the price and the quality. The earlier Morinis were higher quality compared to the CM200ei. To be fair, I bought one of the first CM200eis. The trigger on the Morini has less adjustment compared to Steyr or Walther.

Don't get too excited. "Shipping within EU only." Last I looked, Virginia (and Massachusetts in case Chris is reading) is still firmly part of the definitely non-EU USA.

Oh, well. Another dream dies aborning.

Perhaps one will show up in the US.

Hope springs eternal. It must have been an oversight that Rog, stickler for the truth that he is, omitted that it's an auction, the "less than $60" is only the current bid, and there are over 9 days left for the serious buyers to show up.

Anybody want to "take a small position" on what the final selling price is?

Since you are in the US, I suggest you call Pilkington and see what he has used. I got a used LP10 from him a few months ago for a bit less than $1000, and he made sure it was in good working order.

I can tell you what I shoot and how cool it is, but instead allow me to say this.
YOU have to get along with what you shoot. It took me a while to get my gun adjusted to where I wanted it.
NOW Im shoooting it well and you couldn't pry it out of my hands. It isn't a Steyr or a Morini. You
need to get to a contest or a club and ask to shoot a few different guns, FEEL them. The feel is SO inportant.
dont worry about thinking it is an imposition to shoot somebody's pride and joy, just about any of us
will be glad to let you. Also be aware that trigger tuning is VERY shooter specific. How I set mine
up might not be your cup of tea. How it fits in your hand and how the NPA lines up is so much more
important. Personally, for the money, I would not buy a second hand PCP pistol. I would also immediately buy
the timy bits you might not think of. Almost everybody sells alternate height front sights and balance weights.
Get them before they go away and are difficult to find. Then fiddle to your hearts content with it. it needs to grow on you
and be an extension of your hand........ Almost any new pistol will do that if you give it time. Good luck.
