Yes the pictures look fantastic. To get people excited though will need Walther to get the pistol used in big competitions. Success breeds success.

What about offering it for around $600 (US) to get people really excited? Too bad it will go for several times that.

I have sent a mail to Walther about a .32 version and the answer is:
"A conversion kit for the SSP is planned for next year."

I think it might be an interesting combination. A FAS in new clothes by Walther. Some of us do not like muzzle heavy .32 (or .22).

I'm not familiar with the top-loading magazine design. Is the magazine fixed in place in the pistol, or is it loaded externally and inserted?

Loaded externally then placed into the pistol from the top.
