sight misalignment

For information...

The attached file is for sight alignment pictures based on 10M with 300mm sight radius, a 6 mm front sight and an apparent rear notch of double the front sight width.

(with apologies to Steve S, I have a greater belief in the of the average Joe's/Josephine's ability to 'centre' when it comes to sight alignment - however (apologies, Steve) I have done a bit of 'reconstruction' on sight alignment to give the effect of the amount of mis-alignment).

Are you saying a relatively small/unoticeable deviation in alignment is not serious because it results in only a minor error on the target or . . . ?

Isn't it strange how different people read the same document differently.

I took it to say that, for example, "it may only be 1mm out at this end but it's going to cost you 3 points".

Yep that's what I see too . . . but the "apologies to Steve S" comments had me puzzled . . . since I have a reputation as one of the (loudest, at least) strongest proponents of SIGHT ALIGNMENT (and perfect trigger of course) . . .
