ISSF International Rapid Fire Targets

Post by tleddy »

When I was competing in Rapid Fire the caliber was .22 short and the target was a silhouette. Now, the caliber is .22 LR and I do not know what the target looks like.

I know that the target changed to a Round bull due to Political Correctness and I think it was the Duello target. Now, I have recently seen a target that has only the 10, 9 and maybe 8 rings in black and the rest white.

I have Googled ISSF, Olympic etc to no avail.

Can anyone provide me a link to see the current Rapid Fire target, please...

Here is the URL for the target I mentioned earlier - go to the very bottom of the page to see it.

Look at rule 6.3.2.4 in the ISSF Technical Rules for the current target. I have no idea what the target with only the 8, 9 & 10 in the black is. It's certainly not a current ISSF pisto target for any event.

That target was suggested a few years ago. It never happened. It is a shame that the site you referred to is totally wrong and misleading.
