Light topic - How many International pistols have you owned?

Post by Ted Bell »

A little light discussion for a Tuesday afternoon. How many (and what kinds) of international style pistols have you owned? How many have you owned at the same time? I imagine most of us would love to have one of each mind out there if it was financial possible- who comes closest? Who are the crazy collectors out there? I'm just a rookie with an MG-2 and a Pardini SP1.

Looking forward to the responses,
Ted

Hammerli 160 (1st FP), Pardini PGP75 (a deal I couldn't pass up), Morini CM84E, 3 Toz (Tozzes? Tozii?) (deals that just screamed "buy me you senseless impulsive idiot!").

Still torn between the Morini and the Toz with Rink grips. Pardini PGP too light in the nose for me, but I still like to shoot it occasionally. I've got an ultra-small wrap around grip for it,. so when my daughter turns 13 or so I'll let her have a go at it.

This is embarrasing: owned, not currently own

FP- CM 84e, Hammerli 150, Toz 35 (3 over the years), Mc55
Std - S&W 41, MCM, IZH35, Pardini SP, MG2
AP- Morini 162ei, FWB 65, Hammerli 480K
CF - GSP

* Items in bold are what I currently own,

*The high number of pistols owned is related to my inability to test a gun before you have buy it.

Needless to say I know what I like now and what I don't. Only gun I regret selling was my Pardini SP - it was great.

TOZ35
IZH45M
***edited to add Ruger MKII x 3 of them for standard pistol
Both currently still owned

This was my initial run into international pistol. These guns are awesome. Now rifles we wouldnt have enough space for that list.

I am looking for another IZZY and another set of "stock" IZZY grips, I want a backup.

It looks like the bold are the pistols he still has thus he just got the Morini so he's only had it for a week.

Oh boy - don't let our wives see this!!!!!!

The list below includes former inventory and a few that might still be hanging around.

Standard Pistol... Ruger MkI, Mk II, S&W41, FWB AW93, Pardini SP1E, IZH-35, MG-2 (x2)

Air Pistol... Tau-7 (x 2) LP-1 (x 2), LP-10, CM162EI Long, CM162EI Short, Walther LP300

Air Rifle - Walther LGR

Free Pistol... Toz35 (x 3) Hammerli 150, CM84E (x 2), Hammerli 150 again

CF - Ruger GP100 revolver (hmmm, seems to be a weakness in my collecting streak here, will have to fix this!)

Yeah, I think that's all. But I'm also pretty sure I'm forgetting one or two. I'm a dead man if she ever reads this... ;-)
