Question about "Junior Shooters" magazine

Post by PaulB »

First, this is not an advertisement, it is an inquiry. Does anyone know anything about "Junior Shooters" magazine (www.juniorshooters.net)? Volume 1 came out in August 2007 and I just saw a copy yesterday (pretty sure that Vol 2 is not out yet). The publisher is Shoot Magazine Corporation. I don't personally recognize any of the principles involved (Andy Fink, Ray Walters and Ben Benhough), but they do have Kim Rhode as one of their contributing writers. It is a full-color, slick publication with lots of advertisers and is about 3-4 times the number of pages of NRA's Insights mag.

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about it.

Robert Benbaugh was up at the coach class & conference this year.
This is a new publication, and they are actively looking for contributed articles.
Seemed like a very nice person and was very interested in getting the youth involved in shooting sports as well as writing about their experiences

If anyone is interested in contributing, PM me and I'll dig out his email address for you.
