Per USAS rules, you must be a member to shoot in a sanctioned match.
Now that is not to say that a non-member could not be present at the range that day and perhaps participate in a local club match of the same format as the sanctioned match.
I have heard of some match directors hold a USAS match and a local club match at the same time, same place and having a bigger turnout for the local club match. They do it as a sort of stepping stone to the sanctioned match.
My goal is to generate and support peoples interest in the international style of competitive shooting.

If someone isn't a USAS member...
I think this event has to be open to any one who can perform 60 shots in AP or AR and understand the ISSF rules. Only one difference is: if you are USAS member your score will be reported to USAS HQ in Colorado… By participating in those events over three times you can get your own ranking score and can evaluate your performance in comparison with other USAS members ;)sparky wrote:If someone isn't a USAS member, will they be barred from shooting the match?
If you are not ready to make step forward and start your own Olympic Style Target shooting career it is no problem too, this is your new opportunity to meet good guys end enjoy the time.
Good shooting!
