DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THESE PELLETS? DO THE PRACTISE (SCHAK) PELLETS SHOOT WELL COMPARED TO THE MATCH? THANKS A BUNCH.

Yes, especially in a pistol. They are the same pellets, but are not inspected so you may find a bent one or two. In a low powered pistol I definately prefer RWS Basic for higher velocity with lower price.

JSB pellets

Post by stale »

They will outperform both H&N and RWS in average grouping batch to batch.
After we in our club started 3 years ago to use these pellets
we might buy 150000 pellets each time, and this is split into different batches,
weight and types.
After buying the JSB, everyone is happy and feel they got the best ammo available.
Not so with earlier H&N and RWS pellets, several had to accept a not so good grouping (8-9mm)
Even the cheaper schak gives consistent 6mm grouping in mosts weapons.
My best grouping for 10 shots is 4.8mm with the green Match.

I've just switched from RWS Premium to JSB Match. I'm using the orange tin (rifle pellets) in my LP1 on the recommendation of Steyr UK. You can see the results of my recent batch test here:

I shoot air rifle and right now I'm using JSB S100, and used SCHACK in the past with great results, very nice pellets.

Where are you folks buying your JSBs?
And, does anyone sell the Match Test (pellet sampler) JSB lists on their website?

You can buy JSB pellets from Airguns of Arizona although they only offer the pellets in one size. See http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/.

I bought mine on Pyramidair, they got a lot of different brands and sizes, I will say give them a try.

Illingworth in Canada http://www.airgunsonly.com/frames.html carries both pistol match and rifle match in 4.49 and 4.50 mm

Thanks for the tips on where to get JSB pellets, folks.
Doesn't look like anyone sells the pellet samplers, though.
Ah well.

The tsjech JSB's also perform very well in tsjech pistols and rifles, like for instance, the Tau 7.
