How much weight are most world class shooter using for their free pistol triggers? I heard the Russians and Chinese are using weights of a 100 grams or higher. Thanks

A friend of mine, who was in Zagreb an talked to many of the top shooters, just told me the other day that the consensus on that level seems to be 60-80gr. Looks like the days of 5-10gr are over.

The gold medalist Wang told me - speaking with his fingers - that his weight was around 30 grams (Morini 84, circa 1994). Di Donna's trigger (on his Toz, tuned by Palamà) was precisely 70 grams. I did not even realize what the weight was, in Skanaker's Morini 84, since it fired every time well before the due time :-)
