Do's anyone know where I can get whights for my 888?

If you are looking for barrel weights, call Daisy and purchase a few standard 888 front sights. (the 753 front sights weigh less)
Then install them on the barrel behind the front sight. If you don't like the sights hanging out to the side, knock them off or grind them off and repaint.
It won't take many to get to 7.5 lbs.

My father and I crafted up a makeshift barrel weight out of soft industrial lead (he was a mechanic and you probably dont have lead just lying around). Some teammates of mine also used blocks of stainless steel that they screwed onto the bottom of the sight tube thingy. Pretty much whatever works just don't break 7 and a half lbs. total weight

If you're shooting NRA, note that their rifle requirements have changed for Sporter. www.nrahq.org. If memory serves, the weights have to be symetrical around the barrel.
