Anyone else experiencing extremely slow response loading pages on this site in the past several days?
I've been a member for many months and it is only these past few days that I have noticed the slow-down. Other web-sites that I access have not shown this deterioration. I suspect it is my system, but strange (to me) that it is only this site and only just recently.

Hi,
Seems like the servers are getting cranky, time for some reboots.

Read my post v e r y s l ow l y. There was no advice posted, therefore you should not pay anything at all.
Do not waste your minimum wages or comments on non-existent advice. DUHH

Join the club Sandy. I didn't realise that Jake 152 was a Spambot either and responded over on the "Shooting Eye Doctor" thread.Sandy wrote: For Jake 152,

Re: Spambot
I suppose that really it would have been more accurate to describe this as an automated Troll.Fred Mannis wrote:David,

From what Shin posted I gather that there was a dodgy web site in this one's profile. The idea is that you get automated (strange) replies to postings in the hope that the unwary might be tempted to look at the posters profile and follow any links found there.
The trick is in recognising them and ignoring them.
