velocity problem

i own a lp-2 from our great host velocity when new 220 after 10,000+
rounds checked velocity this week down to 495 adjusted velocity screw to bring vel back to 220. QUESTION IS THIS NORMAL THE PRESURE REGULATER BREAKING IN OT DO I HAVE A PROBLEM.WILL SEEK FURTHER ADVICE AT THE 3X GAMES.WHAT MAINTANENCE CAN I EXPECT LP-2 LESS THAN YEAR OLD. I AM SERIUOS COMP WILL TRY FOR 2008 BEJING

I would'nt worry about the drop too much. The springs will take an initial set after being used a bit, after that, they should be fine. But even 495 is no concern really for accuracy or reliability. Many people shoot slower velocity because they like the lower apparent recoil.
