Enter Now—Western CMP Games and Creedmoor Cup. The CMP and Creedmoor Sports of Oceanside, California announce that their two major west coast competitions, the Western CMP Games and the Creedmoor Cup Matches, have now joined forces. On 5-13 November 2005, they will offer highpower rifle competitors of all skill levels nine full days of clinics and match shooting at Camp Pendleton, California. The Western CMP Games Garand, Springfield and Vintage Military Rifle Matches that took place for the first time this past May at Camp Pendleton will lead the week with a clinic on Saturday, 5 November. That will be followed by two days where competitors can shoot John C. Garand, Springfield or Vintage Military Rifle Matches. On 8 November, competitors can fire in an experimental “as-issued” EIC match. The Creedmoor matches begin with a highpower NMC clinic on 9 November. That is followed by a Creedmoor Practice Match on Thursday, Creedmoor Long Range Matches on Friday, the Creedmoor Cup Match on Saturday and a team match on Sunday. Many top military and civilian shooters already plan to attend. An impressive list of valuable awards and door prizes will be presented. The CMP will be on hand with several hundred surplus U. S. military rifles to be inspected and tagged for purchase. It promises to be a great week of shooting on one of the country’s great shooting ranges. Distinguished Marksman Program. Two new features were recently added to the Distinguished Shooter Lists that are accessible from the CMP Club and Competition Tracker home page at http://clubs.odcmp.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi. A new “Multiple Distinguished List” will identify all shooters who are either Double or Triple Distinguished. Data input is ongoing for this list so some Double and Triple Distinguished shooters are still missing from it. There is also a new list of “Shooters with EIC Points.” Use this list to check out how many EIC credit points are officially recorded for any shooter who has won EIC credit points in civilian Pistol or Rifle EIC matches.
