Hi
I looked in the NRA Conventional Bullseye book and at least bullseye prohibits any form of supporting clothing or other "support". I had been told that the book specifically prohibits high topped shoes. Obviously that's not TRUE. From my understanding "support" would include high topped shoes, but I've never seen anyone called on it. Do the International books prohibit high topped shoes?
I've shot in VERY old topsiders and they work fine.

ISSF rule 8.4.7.4 states:-
"Low-sided shoes should be worn. Any high-sided type shoes (such as Rifle, Basketball, or Ski boots, etc.) which cover the ankle bone, or could give support, are not permitted. Shoes will be checked at Equipment Control. Clothing will be checked on the firing line."
