Morini CM 102E serial numbers...
this may sound like a really stupid/boring/academic (underline where applicable) topic, but does anyone have a 102E where the serial number is not in the 2100 - 2500 range? Out of 9 102E's I know, only 3 are out of that range, and those are prototypes - so are there only 400 production guns around?
Serial number
I have a set called: Skanaker Collection
I was free to choose a number. Skanaker had number 1 of course.
RSA0009 for air pistol (162 E)
RSFP0009 free pistol ( 84 E) and
RSSP0009 for standard pistol (the 102E),
These guns are not blued as a standard but have a silverish look.
I payed around 31 000 Swedish krowns , a lot of money 1993
1$ was at that time 5,50 SKR

Set
The set is nothing to look for.
I have sold the free pistol, which was OK in finish.
Air pistol had a tube with a bad surface. Not nice at all. I have had it rebuilt with new changeable tubes like the 162 EI. Works OK
Then there is the "famous" 102E. Not easy to sell but works well with right ammo and if you keep it clean. It has a superb trigger for training rapid fire and with a SCATT.
One bad thing with buying a set like this is that it is hard to sell one gun if you do not like it. For a collector it is OK, but for a shooter like me, NO.
