If I remember correctly- and jump in here if I don't- the BeamHit systems are all "pulsed" (as opposed to "tracked") systems; ie, you don't get a continuous trace, just an indication of where the computer thought the shot might have hit if it was a live shot.
If that is true, then it is quite a stretch to even call the Beamhit system a "training system" and it certainly doesn't compare at all to Rika, Noptel, or Scatt systems.
If all it does is put a dot on a screen to indicate the simulated shot value, it doesn't seem to be very helpful for training.

The Beamhit 190 is may not be as sophisticated as Noptel, Skatt, or RIKKA but it is very affordable, just a few hundred dollars.

The Beamhit states that their system "is the only proven effective marksmanship training system in existence today," although I think SCATT, RIKA, and NOPTEL could all be considered effective marksmanship trainers.

Yes, I do work for Beamhit as a part timer and I willingly accept any abuse for not disclosing that fact, it was not done with any intent to deceive. I made no claims about the product, as a matter of fact I stated that the 190 was not as sophisticated as the rest, I just put the website address up for others to see and make thier own judgements.

If not, I apologize for smearing you with their practices. But caveat emptor. Really- I was assuming you were an honest person, asking an honest question. I feel mislead (again) by Beamhit's stealth campaign on this sponsored forum. I sincerely apologize if you were an innocent person with a legitimate question caught in this crossfire.
I used to have a neutral stand on Beamhit, but based on their marketing practices I don't think I can ethically remain neutral anymore.

REALLY SORRY ABOUT BEAMHIT
I answered a question about beamhit.I than thought maybe if I could give the group the best prices and some would enjoy.I'm retired and own my own business and really don't need the small profit or hassel trying to give some good guys a deal.I will try to delete all the info I put on.Its only out there about 2 hours so not many should be disturbed.

Nothing personal at all. I've used Beamhit. I don't have a problem with the product itself- it does what it does, no more, no less. It's a cool toy that does a very limited thing cheaper than more capable systems. Vive la difference.
And I do understand that neither Beamhit (nor anyone else, including potential customers) have any reason to give a rip about the personal opinion of one joker "Steve Swartz." I don't work for the Department of Commerce, nor am I an employee or agent of any Attorney General office for any state with consumer protection laws.
FWIW- most likely "not much"- I do have a problem with misleading statements, misrepresentation of it's capabilities, and misrepresentation of those with a direct stake in product sales as disinterested parties "just sharing information" without full disclosure.

But as long as Beamhit (a static, pulsed laser shot estimation system with limited analysis software wrapper) or it's agents continue to compare itself to the "true" training systems (dynamic, continuous aimpoint tracking systems with sophisticated analysis software) in a misleading way I will have a problem.
There is no shame in selling bicycles- just don't call them Lambourghinis. If Beamhit wants to enter the Lambourghini market, great- competition is a Good Thing. Hire some engineers and programmers and get to work- that's the American Way. It's not like what Scatt, Noptel, Rika systems do is that especially difficult.
Full Disclosure: I have absolutely no, zero, aip, nada, zilch financial interest in *any* manufacture, sales, or distributorship of *any* training system, let alone training material in general, shooting equipment, etc.

Beamhit starts at 250 from most people.The others you talk about are 4 times the amount to start.I bet the 26000.00 beamhit works good.I don't care if someone buys one from me I really don't need it .I'm just able to pass on savings and able to supply.I personally think for the money its great!That's why I put up information that I know about and the company confirms.I also added the link to their site so people could do the research.
The beamhit sells for normally $250.00 to$ 26,000.00.I thought the concept was interesting and a good alternative to cold North East winters in a nice warm house.I'm a little to wacky for any more lead shot in my house.If you live in the City its silent unless you turn on the sound.You use any gun from rifle to pistol or shotgun, any caliber, and dry fire it at a target, which activates the laser and the hit is recorded and displayed.Units run from bare bones to computer connected scoring with intelligence and corrections.Various target are available from 10 meter to animals to interactive movies with moving human targets.Target size can also be varied to shoot at a distance in you home but equaling example 60 yards.Sounds interesting to me and I think spices up the dry fire session.Presently used by sports shooters, military and police training.Not a commercial just what I learned about it.Go to the site and check out the units for yourself http://www.beamhit.com/m/_general/contactus.asp
