With the regulatuons in mass, how can I get my hands on one of these? I want to shoot bullseye but don't want to shoot a Ruger or a 41

I believe these are no longer being produced. They are not shown on the EAA website. You would have to find used in MA which would be nearly impossible.
My opinion the sport of Bullseye has been outlawed in MA. It's a real shame. There are no Olympic grade pistols for sale and the used market is very scarce, if you do find something it is usually way over priced.
The two choices I can think of are the M41 or the Ruger Mark III both not Olympic grade.
If you don't care for the M41 you could get the Ruger and do some after market upgrades. Making for a nice pistol with a nice trigger. You could do after market grips, trigger and sear.

There have to be hundreds (thousands?) of used Hi-Standards in Mass. They have a great history in NRA bullseye competiotion. Parts and gunsmith expertise are plentiful. The Hamden-made guns are generally considered the best closely followed by East Hartford. Forget about the recent production!!

What are the laws in Mass. about a private party selling a hand gun to a Mass. resident, from out of state? I know it would have to be done through an FFL dealer. Are there other regs...?

IIRC, if it isn't on the list of pistols Mass people are deemed qualified to own, unless the pistol was registered in Mass prior to 1998, it can no longer be transferred into Mass.
