AW93 sighting
can anyone tell me the sight adjustment from 20 yards to 50 yards, using Eley practice. I have yet to fire @ this distance and I have a match tomorrow. Thanks..
Steve, I just shot my target pistols outdoors for the 1st time this spring myself...I don't have an AW93, but my IZH35 needed two clicks (up) to move the sights from 50 ft to 50 yards (shooting Eley Pistol Standard). 22's shoot pretty flat, so it shouldn't take much.
Ned, just guessing what Steve is up to, but in the US we shoot a lot of "Bullseye" pistol matches (which is the course of fire the Standard Pistol match was modeled after) except for outdoor Bullseye matches the slow fire portion of the match is fired at 50 yards (timed and rapid are fired at 25 yds)...and because most US ranges are set up for 25/50 yards, many international pistol events will be fired on reduced targets at those distances.
