Best Standard Pistol?

Post by Daipan »

Hi everyone,
So recently, I've been researching Standard Pistols, and I'm hopefully going to buy one next year for myself. I know everyone has their personal preferences on what the best gun is, but I wanted to see if there was some general concensus among shooters. I know MatchGuns MG2 is noted for its low recoil, but I hear it has major problems with cycling. Anyone know if this was just in earlier models and if thats been corrected?

There is none.

Just about every aspect of every standard pistol currently in production has already been discussed on Target Talk. All have their promoters and their detractors.

Use the "search" option at the top of the page and insert keywords (e.g. model names such as SP20, AW93, Pardini SP, CM22, GSP, and so on) to research what has already been discussed before.

Here's a link to some prospective candidates for "best pistol." Although the poll is old the pistols in question are still around and still ranked highly.

I think the synonym "utemarksman" had better be corrected to "utmarksmann".
A more commonly used phrase is "villmarksmann", by the way.
