Hello all,
I am planning on building a Unlimited Standing Silhouette rig. The pistol I plan to use maybe a IZH46M, with a B-Square basic mount for a IZH46M, then use a "Ken Light 3" Mid Mount", the scope is yet to be determined... My question for all of you knowledgeable individuals is:
What is the proper method to use when bench sighting a pistol with a scope mounted.
Thanking you in advance, Lee

bench sighting the IZH
I'd get a bunch of paper targets and shoot away. You can do it off bags or laying down, if you can see through the scope.
The point of impact will, more than likely, have to be adjusted anyway, when you start shooting standing. You are just going to get it close on the bench and fine tune it standing. Stick with paper target to see where you are grouping.
You also might try posting to the IHMSA web site.
Good Luck,
Ed
