Rimfire bullet stops
How well do those little bullet stops work that are advertised as being able to stop upto a .22? It seems like something that costs $20 wouldn't last too long.
I dunno, maybe they mean .22 PELLET.
I used an Outers trap when I used to shoot at my parents house, years ago.

Noisy, but it worked fine for stopping .22RF HV. Only thing is there was a LOT of lead particles blasted back out. I think this happens when the bullet "splatters" some of the lead is blown backwards and out the front of the trap. The cardboard target backer was full of tiny holes from lead being blasted back out. So cardboard won't keep the lead in. Maybe a sheet of plywood would work.
