GAMO 126 side lever

Have a GAMO (Daisy) Model 126 side lever air rifle. Usually it will emit air from the barrel for a few seconds after the pellet has left. Sounds like its leaking? Shoots okay, but I often times get a misfire when I pull the trigger. Comments/solutions? Thanks
