Info appreciated on the different versions of the SAKO Finnmaster, if anyone has that to offer.
On the SAKO collector board, a post had said there were 2 versions of this gun, each with a production of each of about 90 units or less (combined SN runs from 1 to about 175 or so). SAKO records however list only one SN sequence, and the factory blueprints or diagrams for the late SN guns are from the original date of issue, with no updates in the drawings.
Any info appreciated.

Re: Finnmaster versions?
I remember the Sako Finnmster!
I saw one for sale with a dealer in New Orleans or Alabama. Serial number #180.
It was dead mint with quite a package of goodies. And, it was left handed, a plus for me!
It was also $4,000, so I passed.
But I saved some pictures and attached them here.
Maybe this helps a little bit?

Re: Finnmaster versions?
Since the original posting, the info has been that the first series had SNs 1-60 (approx), the second series 100 or 101 to about 180 or 181. The pictures indicate an English translation of the Finnish adjustment instructions also were included with the one offered. As
I did list my set of 2 on the Sako collector's website, but at a lower price per gun than the one pictured. May need to rethink that.
As best I could learn, the difference in versions was in the internal firing and chambering/locking mechanisms.
