Hammerli AP20 Pro general impressions and grips

Post by spiza »

Any Hammerli AP20 Pro users? Any impressions? I read that you can use lp 400 or lp 500 grips in AP20 Pro. I am in the process of getting an AP20 Pro (gently used), but for sure I need to change the grip to small. I might update the trigger too.

I came across this 3D grip: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various ... 500-grip-s. Since I have a 3D printer, I’m also tempted to get the STL file and print it. Any one who want to support the cost? I will print the grip in pla or pteg for free

Thanks

The AP-20 ambidextrous grip works great- for many folks- for a long time. If you are getting the Pro, maybe give that grip a try for a while? Unless the grip is too big, or too small...you should be able to make it work for you- with some grip putty, a file, and some sand-paper. Stick with the original trigger blade, also. From our experience, switching them out rarely helps anyone.

I started shooting with the AP20 Pro and liked it more than the AP40 with the 5D grip . Full cylinder and wood grip. If you plan on lending it for lessons buy the regular model with the ambidextrous grip.
