My LP-1 won't fire a pellet. I can bring the cocking lever all the way back and dry fire it, but when I move the slide on top to fire, it will not fire the pellet. I have to hold the cocking lever down to make it fire, it won't seat all the way down. I noticed the bolt has a build up of old dried lube on it, maybe this is the culprit. I removed the grip to see if anything was out of norm and the cam won't stay down unless the cocking lever is held down. I don't know what could keep the cam and cocking lever to push back from seating down.
This all just started last week, I still use CO2. I removed the cylinder and the lever still doesn't seat all the way down. If anybody on this forum has had this problem before how did you fix it? I do have CO2 in the cylinder.
Thank you, Stan

Re: Steyr LP-1
I was told to check the barrel to frame fit and that is what it was. I had to loosen the rear screw about 1/16th to 1/8th turn and balance out the tension with the front screw. It works perfectly now.
