Seeing two issues with the smaller 2800 bolt. Has anyone experienced this?
- firing pin doesn’t seem to be hitting the bullet hard enough and causes multiple mis-fires randomly
- when the bolt rail is put back on, the bolt will not close all the way so the gun can fire

Re: FWB 2800 Bolt Issues
Light strokes can have a few mechanical causes:
Weak spring
Short striker (hammer in FWB speak)
Striker dragging on the trigger
Excess headspace
Springs are normally inexpensive, so I'd try a new one first. If you know anyone else with a 2800 ask if you can compare the length if the striker. If your's is noticeably shorter, you may need to replace this. Excess headspace is harder to fix, at least with an unconventional bolt like the 2800, where I xan't where a shim could go.
In addition crud in the bolt, breech and chamber can slow the striker,or cushion the blow.
Obviously I presume you have eliminated the ammo already.
