Lp500 trigger adjustment

Post by mi4 »

I recently acquired a used LG500 Expert. Due to my shorter fingers, I attempted to adjust the trigger carrier by following the manual's instructions, which advised loosening screw (6) on the left side of the trigger carrier and pushing the trigger carrier. However, despite unscrewing it, the carrier didn't budge. I eventually had to unscrew a similar screw on the opposite side of the trigger carrier to make the adjustment. I'm now wondering if I misinterpreted the manual, if not why this design requires the use of a pair of screws instead of just one.

Both screws 51 L/H and R/H side need to be loosened to move carrier back and forth on trigger bar.

Thank you for confirming that, David. I was afraid that I did something wrong.
