I'm thinking about getting a Pardini HP. Does it use reloads well?

I reload for my HP, no problems. I use about 1.3-1.5 grains of bullseye for the 97 gr (I think) Lapua bullet.

Re: reloads in pardini
I use PB with the Speer 98gr. hbwc. The book say's 1.5 to 1.7 grains. My Pardini seems to be happier at the lighter end of the powder weight. My wifes Hammerli 280 needs the 1.7 grains to cycle it reliably. I use PB because it meters well.

Re: reloads in pardini
I gave away close to 1000 of the Speer's because they performed so poor in my HP. I couldn't keep them in the black at 25 yards from a rest. I use the National Bullet swaged hbwc for the 25 yard line, and Lapua factory for the 50 yard line.

Yes - mine likes the Hornady 90 gr, and it functions just fine at velocities so low that somebody next to you can see the bullet fly downrange.
