AV 46M opinions
Did anybody have recent experiences with Air Venturi AV-46M? I believe I saw some negative reports about early versions, hopefully it improved, but I did not see anything more recent. How does it compare with Izzy, the same, or some degrade of quality?
TIA
TIA
Re: AV 46M opinions
The college where I coach bought about 15 or 20 of them for PE air pistol classes. The only complaint I've heard is that the laminated grip is designed so that the "grain" of the laminations of the heel rests is vertical, and they tend to break easily. I 3D printed a bunch of replacements, and haven't heard of any issues since then.

Gee, for that you could get a "real" used AP.

For what it's worth, there is a seller on the Canadian Airgun Forum with a Walther CP1 for sale for $600 CAN plus shipping (if he will ship to the USA). Check out https://www.airgunforum.ca/forums/topic88335.html. Just bear in mind that the CO2 cylinder is required. None-the-less, the CP1 is a pretty good buy (if the grips fit), and an excellent pistol overall.
