Scatt on walther lp500
Has anyone found a good place to mount a scatt to keep it in the gun verses setting it up all the time and mounting it to the tank?

I thought all SCATTs only ever mounted to the tank
Re: Scatt on walther lp500
That's the most common approach, but you can mount them anywhere as long as it's parallel to the barrel, and is rigid and close enough to the action to pick up the dry fire click. I've 3D printed mounting blocks to clamp on the barrel of my Morini free pistol, for example.

I shoot a Morini 162EI.
My Scatt mounting block is permanently located on the frame where the cylinder screws into main body. The zero is off-target at 10 metres, but it is consistent, so moving the hit point to the centre of the target is easy.
Max.

This is what i use for my MantisX. Not sure it’s applicable to a scatt.

Like this?
First shot always results in good group. The others just don't follow
