Resealing Anschutz 9003
Is anyone aware of any tutorials or videos on resealing an Anschutz 9003?
I hadn't shot mine in several years (mostly shooting smallbore), and when I tried it this AM I got two good shots off and then nothing. A mild "poink" sound, and a small escape of air from the bolt area, and that's it.
I assume I screwed up by leaving a full cylinder screwed on while in storage, and that deformed some o-rings somewhere. It's another one of those cases where I put it away thinking "I'll be shooting it again in a couple of days", and a couple of days turned into a couple of years.
Thanks in advance,
Tom

Air in the tube or did it all dump?
Re: Resealing Anschutz 9003
No, cylinder still full. It's like it's not getting anywhere near a full charge of air into the system, and then when you pull the trigger it's just a little psssst around the bolt.

When you screw in the tank then unscrew it what happens?
Re: Resealing Anschutz 9003
The exact same thing. Nothing unusual about that aspect (i.e., the usual half-second hiss when you unscrew it).

Does screwing it back on get you another two shots or still nothing?
Re: Resealing Anschutz 9003
Nope; no change at all.
Re: Resealing Anschutz 9003
Sounds like the regulator is stuck.
Do you have the Torx to adjust it?

Re: Resealing Anschutz 9003
I've got an assortment of Torx screwdrivers. (Nothing from Anschutz itself.) Can you explain how to adjust, or how to access it? If it's stuck it might simply be a matter of freeing it up.
Re: Resealing Anschutz 9003
It's accessible from that port in the bottom using I believe a T35, but it needs to be a 90 degree Torx to reach without splitting the receiver.

A 5mm allen key will also fit, you don't need a T35.

Thanks for the responses. Now I just need to get the riser block off the bottom of the stock. Someone torqued the hex bolts down unmercifully, and then stripped one.
