Best S.S.P. lube?

What is agood lube for S.S.P piston.tube and o-rings? Silicon or petroleum?Grease or oi Thank You.

Which SSP are you talking about? I have Pardini K58 and was informed to only lube the armature area very very lightly and not the O-rings in the loading port. And NEVER the trigger mech. YMMV

It's a simple Beeman P 3 with an overlever piston in tube design.

Don't use a petroleum lube, it may diesel, though you could try air tool oil.

Buck at Pilk told me my Walther LPM1 is permanently lubed. My Pardini K58 needed a drop of Beeman Chamber Oil on the piston rings from time to time.

Rover Thanks reply. It seems buna rubber oo rings use silicon grease or oil but problem with silicons is they don't lube metal so I am still looking for a lube.

I have a Beeman P17, a clone of the P3, just use a drop of mineral oil from the pharmacy in the air intake hole, no need for any special lubricants or greases.
