Mega Spam

Post by jhmartin »

I've sent messages to the moderators that the site has been Mega-Spammed.
Messages from "fisentke545" - looks like a pretty massive cleanup job.

It might help to have new members have a limit on their number of posts in the first week-month. Or a daily limit to minimize these useless posts.

Oh, the joy of being a moderator...

There is usually a delay before I find that the site has been spammed as I am in Australia and don't check the site until I have had my first cup of coffee for the morning.

Enjoy your morning coffee (it's only civilized). Then find a techno whiz to royally fuck them over.

Do the spammers realize we have guns?

Spammers know that almost all gun owners are law abiding folks.
While spammers and identity thieves rank among the highest irritations there may be, they know they are not worth the trouble of a gun encounter ... thus what we have now.

Extended, dark, isolated hole in a prison is my hope for them.
Or buried alive in such as above --- like a backhoe makes.

Problem is the NSA keeps hiring them when they are caught

(OK ... that's MY rant for the day - TYVM)

Probably not, I wonder if the person responsible bothered to look at what type of forum this is. By now it's probably on the Spammer equivalent of the yellow pages.

There's also the question of whether they care. Unless you can shoot to Russia, China, or North Korea, what does it matter to them?

Can anybody identify that pistol Marv is posing with? At first I thought it might be a Pardini but the front sight is not familiar. Any ideas?

It can't be a Bergmann-Mars as rhere's no forwards magazine.

DATELINE LONDON!
Local hero Tim Slater stumps Yank by identifying pistol used by Marvin the Martian in his latest effort at World Domination. In her daily address The Queen remarked, “ That Slater fellow is master of the obscure firearm. He’s a national treasure!”

Nice work Tim and God Save the Queen!

This will go a long way to help my letter writing campaign to get you Knighted.

Great Scott!……or should I say, Great Webley Scott! We’re getting closer but the front sight with the crosshairs (or should I say "X-hairs") is still missing.
