Dear members,
I am new to this forum. I am shooting rapid fire air pistol with a Steyr LP50 normal and compact.
I have a question about the allen set screw m5x6 (part number 3900087) on top of the pistol, just behind the two m5x6 screws which hold the barrel.
Does anyone know where that screw is for? I accidentally turned it, the pistol is still working fine, but I am afraid I did change a setting anyhow.
Who can advise me? I enclosed an exploded view and parts list.
With kind regards!

I don't have an LP50, is it the screw shown here?
It could be to hold the Magazinblock (53) in place or hold something else, or it could be just to plug a hole.
I would doubt its an adjustment screw.

Re: Steyr LP50 question about allen screw M5 on top of pistol
If you carefully look at the diagram, the exploded barrel on the parts list has three holes on the back, it seems that part number 3900087 is another screw to hold the barrel down. Don't overtighten the loose screw.

I don't think so, if the barrel went that far it would pass through the magazine.
The first dimple in the barrel is to fix the shroud to the barrel, the next two are to fix the barrel to the frame.

It's also used to hold the mount for a red dot or scope. Call Pilkington for more details.
