I would use require US postal money orders. Other money orders can be forged, US postal money orders can be cashed right at the post office or AT LEAST verified.
3 day inspection for the buyer, buyer pays shipping. Buyer pays shipping both ways for a refused gun after inspection.
Offer insurance as an option, if they don't take the insurance, it's their gun if it gets there broken or mangled.
